Quantum of Solace also features a checkpoint system that saves after key events in the story. Although being focused in a first-person view, the game also switches to a third person view periodically, at points such as quick time events and cover sequences. Being built upon Infinity Ward's IW Engine, the game allows for large amounts of environmental damage and other effects, like those found in Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty: World at War. The game is the first James Bond title to be released by Activision after acquisition of the James Bond video game license in 2006. Quantum of Solace is a first-person shooter game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PC.
