It's absolutely gorgeous, handles well, and has good physics and mechanics, but it leans really hard into aspects of gaming and storytelling that I just can't stand. MP3 is a good game that, to me, doesn't mesh well with MP1 or 2. Max got an ending that felt satisfying to me, gave me hope for the character and I didn't feel as though there was anything they missed. I didn't want or need a third Max Payne game because I didn't feel as though there were any loose threads from MP2.
